School life at Strathmore School is not just about classes, studying and exams; it is a vibrant tapestry of experiences that shapes a well-rounded individual. Every day presents an opportunity to self discovery.
Students are treated to a diverse array of activities that extend well beyond the classroom. Different cohorts participate in various activities that enable them to appreciate school life both inside and outside of class. These activities are either after-school programs or scheduled events listed in the school planner. The scheduled activities include clubs such as Chess, Robotics, Coding, Debate, Music, Musical Instruments, Entrepreneurship, Tennis, Media (both digital and print), Rangers, Science and Technology, Skating/Rollerblading and Martial Arts.
After-school activities primarily focus on sports and Father-Son gatherings. In sports, we offer Basketball, Rugby, Swimming, Handball, Soccer and Volleyball. Each class also organizes Father-Son events, allowing fathers to get to know their sons and classmates better. These gatherings help strengthen class bonds and provide support for school families.
In addition to the activities mentioned, we also host Family Sports afternoons. These afternoons are designed for families to come together on typical Saturday afternoons to enjoy sports and fun activities. Family Sports afternoons are open to all—parents, their sons, siblings and relatives are warmly invited. The school’s staff also participates in these enjoyable afternoons. During Family Sports, families come together for a fun-filled afternoon featuring a myriad of sporting activities, creating a pleasant atmosphere for interaction among families from the entire school community.
