The Strathmore Swimming Team went out to compete for Nairobi County Championships on the 6th April. The following were the best performance that the team achieved:

Emmanuel Otieno was 3rd in 50M butterfly
Adam Otieno was 1st Position in 100M Breast Stroke, 1st Position in 100M Free Style, 1st Position in 50M Breast Stroke
Cutris Kamotho was 2nd in 50M Backstroke and 2nd in 50M Breast Stroke

Emmanuel Otieno, Adam Otieno and Curtis Kamotho qualified to represent Nairobi Region Swimming team in the Nationals in Eldoret.

Curtis, Adam, Dante and Emmanuel were the best team in the 4 by 50m Medley Relay.

On 31st March the Primary Boys represented the school in the Kilimani Zonals Athletics Championship:

1. Jose Maria Omondi position 6 , 400m.
2. Stephan Olumbe position 6, Shot put.
3. Tuari Muriithi position 4 , High Jump. Long Jump no 5.
4. Leone Marrosi position 6, 200m.

The boys bowed out of the competition since the top 2 positions were slotted in for the Sub County Games.
The boys were thankful for the experience and promised to work harder in preparation for future Athletics events.

On the weekend of 31st March, 1st April and 2nd April the debate team participated in the East African Debate Championship. The following were the results:

The best speaker in the whole competition is Ian Irungu

The boys did extremely well. A tremendous improvement compared to the last competition.

On 1st April 2023 we had an invitational tournament for the Grade 1s to 5s. The Grade 1s to 5s have been having Saturday soccer training sessions.

The teams that participated were:
Strathmore Grade 1 to 5 teams
St. Marys Primary (5 teams)
Lukenya Primary (5 teams)
Ujuzi Soccer Academy (5 teams)
After tallying all the points after the round robbin play the winners were Lukenya Primary, runnners up was Saint Marys School and Strathmore was 2nd runners up.
The Saturday training sessions have taken an upbeat turn after the sizzling tournament.

The Westlands Sub-County Term 1 games came to a close on Saturday March 25th 2023. We had boys participating in Handball, Basketball and Athletics. In athletics: Owen Dima (100Meters and 200Meters Sprint), Daniel Njai(400Meters Sprint), Gabriel Kariuki 3000Meters run and the team of Sean Ochieng’, Peter John Mutura, Bessel Onyango and Owen Dima(4 by 100Meters) qualified to proceed to the county games. Dima was position 1 in the 100Meters and 200Meters, Njai poistion 1 in 400Meters Sprint and the 4 by 100 Meters team was 2nd place.

In Basket ball the team ranked 2nd after a tough loss to Hospitall Hill in the finals. Handball team ranked 3rd after winning the 3rd place playoff against Kabete Vet Lab School.
