On 4th July the whole school took to the fields again this time to participate specifically in track and field events. All classes from Grade 1 to Form 4 participated.
The events featured were Tyre Race, Skipping Race, Spoon Race, Sack Race, 100M, 200M, 400M, 4 by 100M, 800M, 1500M. Also field events: Shot Put, Discus, High Jump and Long Jump.
Discus was the new feature this year in field events. Great performances recorded during the day were:
Kamau Kange Form 1 Broke the High Jump record.
Form 3 had the fastest 4 by 100M times in the school. The 4 runners in this great 4 by 100M team were: Bessel Onyango, Ryan Mwilu, Davis Tatuli and Jacob Muchunu.
Jason Kibungei Standard 8 won both the 800M and 1500M primary section race.
Andrew Muchigi Standard 8 won 100M, 200M, Primary Shot Put, Primary Long Jump and Primary Discus.
